Glass – In 1 Corinthians 13:12 and James 1:23, where some translations have the word “glass”, the Greek text has esoptron, “mirror”. It is likely that in those days, mirrors were made of polished metal and not of glass.

Goat – The goat for Azazel, Leviticus 16:8, 10 and 26, was not let escape alive as many bible-translations make it seem, but was pushed down from a high cliff, so that it died. During temple times this was done at a cliff called Beth-Hadudu. → rxa043.htm
