The picture below is an on fossil skeletons based illustration of the looks of the pteranodon which was a genus of pterosaurs. The original painting was made in 1916 by Heinrich Harder. When you look at this picture, keep in mind that these flying creatures could be up to 9 metres in wing-span – think that measurement into the picture.
